Marriage Taboo
One year ago, the heroine had just found out she was pregnant and was living a happy life with her husband, only to realize that he was cheating. When she confronted the mistress, the husband unexpectedly appeared and hinted that he was going to deal with the disobedient wife. In the car, the heroine proposed a divorce, and the husband slammed on the gas, intending to kill her and collect the life insurance. After undergoing plastic surgery, the heroine teamed up with her mother-in-law for revenge. The mother-in-law extended a helping hand, asking if they should cooperate. With her mother-in-law's assistance, the heroine transformed into a wealthy heiress. Using a fake identity, she tricked the husband into investing and set up a scheme to sabotage his career. She then told the husband that she was leaving unless he invested more money in a new project. The husband scrambled to raise the money and had the mistress help him get a loan. In order to avoid repaying the debt, he killed the mistress in the same way he had planned to kill the heroine. As the heroine reflected on her past, she decided to end everything on the anniversary of her supposed death. On this day, she reappeared, shocking the husband. The mother-in-law used her company and the heroine’s wealth as bait to force the husband to leave everything behind. The heroine, once again posing as a wealthy heiress, met the husband. He excitedly confessed that he had divorced, and the heroine promised to bring billions in investment to their engagement party. The husband began living extravagantly, using his identity as a wealthy son-in-law to raise large sums of money. At his birthday party, he eagerly awaited the heroine’s arrival, but instead, she appeared as his ex-wife. He mocked her, but the heroine removed her bandages to reveal her face. The husband was stunned, realizing that he had been outsmarted. He was ridiculed, and the crowd began chasing him for money. The husband tried to use his mother-in-law as a last resort, but she stood behind the heroine, revealing that the company had already kicked him out. The husband had a total meltdown. The husband and his partners then plotted to get revenge on the heroine, but they were outwitted. The partners were tricked, and in a fit of rage, one of them cut the heroine’s brake lines. The husband, seeking revenge, stole the heroine’s car, only to end up in a car accident. Since they were still legally married during the divorce cooling-off period, the heroine signed the papers to stop treatment for the critically injured husband. When he unexpectedly passed away, the accidental insurance policy the husband had taken out years ago was activated, and the heroine received a massive payout. With both her career and love life thriving, the heroine achieved success and revenge.
