Craftsmanship Beat Connections Every Time

Vincent and Trevor co-founded a luxury car repair shop, splitting profits evenly, and it pulled in $2 million a year. Then Trevor changed the terms—claiming he'd supplied all the resources, he gave Vincent a $100,000 bonus and belittled his work at every turn. Disappointed, Vincent left with his skills and, backed by his girlfriend and family, took on jobs no one else could handle. His business thrived. Trevor, who underestimated technical expertise and hired poorly, botched repair after repair on luxury cars, sold off assets to cover compensation, and went bankrupt—forced to swallow his pride and ask Vincent for help. In the end, Vincent built the small shop into a chain brand through integrity and craftsmanship, while Trevor worked off his debts, finally facing his mistakes.
