Quinn and Wayne have been married for many years and have a daughter named Nina, who has been suffering from a severe heart condition since birth. One day, Nina's heart condition suddenly relapsed. Quinn rushed Nina to the hospital where her husband, Wayne, works as a doctor. Wayne informed Quinn that a suitable heart had been found for Nina, and that with the surgery, Nina would survive. As Quinn prepared Nina for the surgery, Wayne's ex-girlfriend, Belle, showed up with their love child, Zoe. Wayne was unaware that Zoe was his daughter, but over the years, he had been taking care of Belle and Zoe, even buying them a house and covering Zoe's medical expenses. Zoe also had a heart condition, though not as severe as Nina's. However, manipulated by Belle's lies, Wayne decided to give the heart intended for Nina to Zoe instead. Zoe's surgery was successful, but Nina passed away that same night. Devastated, Quinn wanted to confront Wayne, but she found him embracing Belle and learned that the heart meant for Nina had been given to Zoe. When Quinn tried to question Wayne, he coldly stated that Nina's heart condition wasn't that serious and that saving Zoe was the priority. Around this time, she met Luke, who had fallen in love with her at first sight and had been quietly pursuing her. Wayne refused to believe that Nina had died until he saw her memorial photo at home. Quinn asked Luke to investigate the truth. Upon discovering her husband's infidelity, favoritism, and the real cause of her daughter's death, Quinn began to plot her revenge. Wayne and Belle's careers were ruined, and they became social outcasts. Filled with regret, Wayne begged Quinn for forgiveness. However, Quinn pretended to forgive him while flaunting her new relationship with Luke in front of him, exacting her revenge. She ultimately used the media to permanently disgrace Wayne and Belle. But the despicable duo resorted to digging up Nina's grave, threatening Quinn with her daughter's ashes to extort money from her. This pushed Quinn over the edge, and she kidnapped Zoe. However, during her time with Zoe, Quinn was reminded of her own daughter and, softening, she let Zoe go. In the end, Wayne and Belle died in a car accident while fleeing. Quinn woke up from her sleep to find that it had all been a dream. Her husband was actually Luke, and their child, whom they named Nina, was growing in her womb...
