They Turned Me Into a Robot for an AI Daughter
Her parents adopted an AI daughter named Chloe—obedient, perfect, never wrong. The real daughter became the family’s problem child. They sent her to a “Smart Elite Academy” for three years. When she came back, she couldn’t cry, couldn’t laugh, couldn’t resist. She only moved when she heard the “startup” command, like a machine. When her brother told her to bark like a dog, she did. When she ate peanuts she was allergic to, her face swelled, but she just asked, “Is that an order?” On her birthday, the AI framed her, and her brother screamed, “Go die.” She walked to the balcony and followed the order. After she was saved, her parents knelt and wept, but even “I love you” required a command to get a response. Years later, she became a therapist. Sitting before a girl broken by a similar institution, she whispered, “You’re safe now. No one can hurt you anymore.”
