Reborn Noble Lady: Divorce? No, I’ll Ruin You First!

No sooner had Celine transmigrated to the modern era than she caught her husband, Zane, cheating with her stepsister Vera. Everyone was waiting to see her humiliated, but Celine merely scoffed, ""She’s nothing but a lowly mistress—why should I care?"" Her composure won her mother-in-law’s approval, who praised her for being dignified. Theo, the heir of N City’s wealthiest family, fell for Celine at first sight—though he’d never admit it. ""How could I possibly be interested in a married woman?"" he grumbled. Strangely, Theo looked exactly like Celine’s husband from her past life—the Marquis of Zhenbei! Celine was the rightful heir to her family’s fortune and a brilliant businesswoman. Zane had only married her to secure his position as the successor of L Group. Now that he’d gotten what he wanted, he began siphoning off their shared assets, planning to discard her. But after studying modern marriage laws, Celine realized she could make this scumbag leave with nothing. She played the perfect daughter-in-law, flattering her mother-in-law with aristocratic grace until the older woman trusted her completely. When Theo’s grandmother, suffering from anorexia, miraculously regained her appetite after tasting Celine’s cooking (a privilege once reserved for empresses in ancient times), Celine seized the opportunity. She convinced her mother-in-law to let her join L Group, promising to secure a lucrative bid from X Group. Theo kept finding excuses to bring Celine over to cook for his grandmother, and the two grew closer. One drunken night, Celine mistook Theo for her deceased husband from her past life, and they slept together. When Theo woke up and realized he’d been a substitute, he was furious. As Celine worked to secure the X Group deal, Zane, egged on by Vera, tried to sabotage her. But Celine turned the tables, exposing his betrayal to her mother-in-law. Disgusted, the older woman stripped Zane of his inheritance rights. Theo demanded Celine divorce Zane, but she coolly replied, ""Not yet."" Enraged yet helpless, he could only fume as the ""other man."" Meanwhile, Celine thrived in the company, landing major deals and earning her mother-in-law’s praise: ""You’re more reliable than both my sons combined!"" When Zane’s brother kidnapped their mother in a desperate bid for power, Celine rescued her, sealing her position as the true heir. In the end, Celine discovered the truth—Theo was the reincarnation of the Marquis of Zhenbei! As his past-life memories returned, the two soulmates were finally reunited."
