Armed with the SSS‑rank God of Thieves talent, he seeks vengeance against those who betrayed him in an apocalyptic world where a video game merges with real‑life Earth, rising in power and astonishing the whole globe. In this universe, higher‑dimensional creatures invade Planet Blue through an online game called Glory. After three major updates, the game will fully merge with reality. Random game dungeons spawn across city streets. If players fail to clear these dungeons, alien invaders will pour out and conquer the planet. When a player dies inside the game, they die for good. The whole world becomes a survival game for every human being. In his previous life, Jiang Mingyuan ran a small business. Trusting his blood relatives, he was sacrificed by his hypocritical younger brother Jiang Mingrui together with Lin Siyou, eldest daughter of the Lin Clan.
