"Under the threat of her father Samuel Su’s suicide, Sophie Su agrees to marry comatose billionaire Finn Foster for a staggering 15milliondowry∗∗,becominghiswifewitha∗∗monthlysalaryof150,000. Planning to flee once she’s saved enough, Sophie faces hostility from Hailey He, who sides with the main branch of the Foster family to drive her out—only to end up humiliated. When Sophie learns that her mother-in-law, Claire Chen, wants her to leave to avoid wasting her youth, she clings to her hefty paycheck and diligently cares for Finn. After a series of mishaps, Finn wakes up—but Sophie, afraid her ""devoted wife"" act will be exposed, tries to flee, only to discover he’s lost his memory and acts like a fool. At a family banquet celebrating Finn’s recovery, his cousin Trent Foster bullies him, but Sophie steps in to protect her ""husband."" To secure their family’s position, Claire lies that Sophie is pregnant. Upon hearing this, Victor Foster (Finn’s uncle) and his son hire Sophie’s ex-boyfriend to kill her. At the critical moment, Finn shields her, revealing he was faking his amnesia. Sophie tries to escape but gets caught, forcing her to sign a new deal: she’ll work at Foster Corp to gather evidence of Victor’s crimes. In return, she’ll receive $1.5 million and a luxury penthouse. Money-hungry Sophie agrees instantly. Victor, fearing Sophie might uncover his embezzlement, orders Trent to block her from joining the company. But Trent’s schemes only strengthen Sophie’s ""loving wife"" image, and she successfully starts her internship. At Foster Corp, Sophie faces harassment from a fake ""Mrs. Foster"" (planted by Trent), but she outsmarts every trap. On the day of the shareholders’ meeting, she prepares to expose Victor—only to find the evidence switched last minute. Just as she’s about to be fired, Finn arrives with witnesses, evidence, and the FBI, leading to Victor’s arrest. At Finn’s celebratory banquet, his childhood sweetheart Scarlett Xie returns. Sophie confides in her best friend Lulu Cheng, only to later spot Finn drinking with Scarlett at a bar. She storms in to ""catch them in the act""—but secretly takes Finn’s hush money and splurges with Lulu. Hailey provokes Sophie, who plays the ""innocent victim"" in front of Finn, making him feel guilty. Just as their romance heats up, Scarlett interrupts. Scarlett offers Sophie $1.2 million to leave Finn—but he walks in, causing a huge fight. After a bitter argument, Sophie attends a singles’ party, further angering Finn, and they break up. Drunk and heartbroken, Finn realizes Scarlett knows he truly loves Sophie. Scarlett gracefully exits, clarifying that Sophie never took the money. Meanwhile, Finn panics upon hearing Sophie has leukemia—only to discover it’s a false alarm. He finally confesses his love, and the story ends with a happy ending. "
