Tears of a Falling Star
As children, Star (Estelle Frost) and Ash (Christopher Brooks) are kidnapped by human traffickers. Ash gets his leg broken saving Star before they are separated. Years later, Ash is a powerful CEO named Christopher Brooks. To fulfill his Grandmother's dying wish, he agrees to marry into the Frost family. The greedy Frosts substitute their biological daughter Madeline Frost with their adopted daughter Estelle to marry the cripple. Estelle suffers endless abuse from Christopher's admirer Sabrina Carmichael. Christopher, consumed by his search for Star, turns a blind eye. Just as Estelle realizes Christopher is Ash, Sabrina poisons her, rendering her mute. Sabrina and Madeline then conspire to have Madeline impersonate Star. At the hospital, Estelle unknowingly befriends her biological father, a wealthy tycoon. Madeline discovers the truth, fakes a DNA test to steal Estelle's identity, and plots with the treacherous Kensington family butler to silence them. Estelle breaks her leg protecting Christopher. When Estelle's father uncovers the truth, Madeline puts him in a coma to seize Kensington Group. Her crimes exposed, a deranged Madeline attempts to run over Estelle. Christopher saves her but loses his memory. Finally, Estelle awakens his memories at their wedding, leading to a happy ending.
