God of Thieves
God of Thieves Season 1 is a urban‑sci‑fi male‑oriented action short drama with 80 episodes. It follows Jiang Mingyuan, who is reborn back in time. Armed with the SSS‑rank God of Thieves talent, he seeks vengeance against those who betrayed him in an apocalyptic world where a video game merges with real‑life Earth, rising in power and astonishing the whole globe. In this universe, higher‑dimensional creatures invade Planet Blue through an online game called Glory. After three major updates, the game will fully merge with reality. Random game dungeons spawn across city streets. If players fail to clear these dungeons, alien invaders will pour out and conquer the planet. When a player dies inside the game, they die for good. The whole world becomes a survival game for every human being. In his previous life, Jiang Mingyuan ran a small business. Trusting his blood relatives, he was sacrificed by his hypocritical younger brother Jiang Mingrui together with Lin Siyou, eldest daughter of the Lin Clan. His divine‑bestowed talent was stolen, and he died filled with rage. He is reborn one hour before Glory launches. Carrying past‑life memories and burning hatred, he is determined to rewrite fate and take revenge. Right after rebirth, he uses knockout spray to incapacitate Jiang Mingrui, stopping his brother from gaining an early advantage. Risking mental collapse or even death, Jiang Mingyuan repeatedly deletes and resets his character to reroll his starting talent. On the brink of death, he gains recognition from the God of Thieves and unlocks the overpowered SSS‑rank God of Thieves talent. It grants three core abilities: 100‑percent success rate to steal any item from targets without being detected, perfect shape‑and‑aura disguise, and an ultimate skill that can steal other people’s divine‑bestowed talents, usable a limited number of times in his lifetime.
