The Abandoned Bride's Revenge
On Shen Xinke's wedding day, her stepsister Shen Wan threw a hysterical fit, prompting her fiancé Gu Chuan to abandon her at the altar—leaving Xinke standing alone in her wedding dress as he fled with Shen Wan. Gu Chuan claimed he was going abroad to start a business, but in reality, he was avoiding Xinke while secretly meeting with Shen Wan. Meanwhile, Xinke was left to face the mocking stares of the guests alone—until Gu Linyuan, the head of the Gu family and Gu Chuan's uncle, stepped forward and married her on the spot. Though Gu Linyuan suffered from paranoid personality disorder, making him volatile and prone to rage, he doted on Xinke unconditionally. Since Linyuan was born infertile, the couple sought out renowned doctors both domestically and abroad. Three years later, Xinke finally became pregnant. Overjoyed at becoming a father, Linyuan vowed to control his temper, undergo treatment for his disorder, and strive to be a stable parent. However, just then, Gu Chuan returned from his failed business venture with Shen Wan in tow. Upon seeing Xinke pregnant, he flew into a rage, demanding to know whose ""bastard"" she was carrying. Unaware that Xinke had married his uncle, he accused her of living luxuriously under the title of ""Mrs. Gu"" while betraying him. Driven by fury, Gu Chuan began ruthlessly punishing Xinke for her supposed infidelity. When Xinke revealed that the child was Gu Linyuan's, he refused to believe it—how could his cold, sterile uncle have married her, let alone fathered a child? His disbelief only fueled his cruelty, and he escalated his torment. In a final act of brutality, Gu Chuan forced Xinke to miscarry. Despite her desperate pleas and apologies on her knees, he showed no mercy. Just as the tragedy unfolded, Gu Linyuan returned. Enraged at the loss of his wife and unborn child, he swore vengeance. Only then did Gu Chuan and Shen Wan realize the truth—Xinke had been telling the truth all along. Trembling before the furious family patriarch, they collapsed in terror. Meanwhile, Xinke, heartbroken but resolute, swore to make them pay for everything they had done...
