Linda's father, Lin Feng, suddenly has a brain hemorrhage and is in critical condition. Ethan, her husband, rushes him to Linda's private hospital. But Linda, trying to help her first love, Kevin, with his headache, calls away the doctor who was treating Lin Feng. She also mistakenly thinks the patient Ethan brought in is his poor aunt, so she cuts the power to the operating room and lets an intern perform the surgery on her dad.
