The Job of a Concubine
The New Emperor is disfigured in an assassination attempt. She faces numerous assassination attempts and even has to drink an abortion potion, yet with the help of loyal servants, she manages to escape danger time and again. At a critical moment in the power struggle, Consort Lisa exposes the conspiracy between Concubine Joy and the false emperor, helping Emperor restore his appearance and identity. Ultimately, Emperor regains control of the throne, purges the harem, and deposes both the Empress and Concubine Joy. Consort Lisa, through her loyalty and wisdom, earns his trust and affection, becoming the true winner in the harem.
