"When Adam Normandy had a heart attack and was being hunted by people sent by his brother Charles Normandy, Megan Scott saved him. Adam was shocked to discover that the human Megan was his mate, and that her kiss could alleviate his heart attacks. Olivia deceived Megan into having a relationship with Adam after being injected with the wolf blood, aiming for Megan to die after saving Adam, thereby giving Olivia a chance to become Adam’s Luna.
After Megan and Adam were intimate, Megan vomited blood and fell into a coma, leaving Adam full of regret. In the operating room, Megan was saved by Dr. Roger, who arrived in time and used forbidden techniques, but the treatment severed the mate bond between Megan and Adam.
