Learning Love in the Storm
Harper endures relentless emotional and physical abuse from her husband Samuel, who deems her an unsatisfying wife and is influenced by his scheming assistant Ruby. He forces Harper into the "Perfect Wife Training Academy", a hellish suburban facility that subjects her to dehumanizing body examinations, graphic video training, violent coercion, and sexual violation under instructors Camilla and Daniel—all sanctioned by a contract Samuel signed. Samuel uncovers Ruby’s role as a academy shareholder who orchestrated Harper’s suffering, avenges Harper by taking down the academy and imprisoning Ruby, then devotes himself to caring for her after she’s diagnosed with a rare illness. Refusing to forgive his unforgivable betrayal, Harper dies in the ICU, her final question—“am I finally a perfect wife?”—haunting Samuel forever.
