Love Caught Fangs and Claws cover

Love Caught Fangs and Claws

Yuri is a high school student who has been starved of love his entire life. His adoptive parents only care about their biological son, and Yuri is constantly bullied at school. Despite his loneliness and pain, he hides it behind a bright and gentle personality — a “smiling depression” type who always puts others before himself. His true identity is the descendant of the werewolf bloodline. Brian, the fallen heir of the vampire clan, has lived for centuries following his father’s strict belief: vampires must never drink human blood. That changes when his enemy shatters half of his heart with a single blow. Gravely injured, Brian falls into Yuri’s swimming pool in the human world — and is unexpectedly saved by Yuri’s blood. At first, Brian is only drawn to Yuri because of his extraordinary blood. He secretly follows and observes him, while growing increasingly jealous and possessive toward Lucius, the werewolf who has always stayed by Yuri’s side. But the closer Brian gets to Yuri, the more he is moved by this fragile yet kind-hearted boy. What begins as a hunger for his blood slowly turns into genuine love. Lucius, the young heir of the werewolf clan, was the only source of light in Yuri’s life before Brian appeared. Disguised as an ordinary high school student, Lucius has always protected and supported Yuri. As the star player and ace of the school football team, he is confident, charismatic, and admired by everyone. He takes every hit meant for Yuri and uses his warmth to thaw the coldness Yuri has carried inside. The relationship between the three is pushed to its breaking point through enemy attacks, betrayal, misunderstandings, and impossible choices. In the end,, Yuri realizes he cannot lose either Brian or Lucius. The story ends with the three of them overcoming hatred between the two races and celebrating a legendary happy ending — a century-defining wedding that unites vampire and werewolf bloodlines.

Filled with gratitude, Lu Ruohong intends to pass down her lifelong immortal cultivation scriptures, peerless treasures and the entire Lu Conglomerate to the three women, and best upon them immortal powers for eternal youth. Yet she soon makes a horrifying discovery: her three biological sons are utterly worthless scoundrels. The eldest son Lu Haoxuan is a compulsive gambler. Having squandered the family fortune, he tries to use his wife Zhou Wanyue as a gambling debt collateral. The second son Lu Haochen is greedy and lecherous. He cheats on his secretary, driving his wife Fang Yuhan to suffer a miscarriage out of grief. The third son Lu Haojing is ruthless and cruel. To seize all inheritance for himself, he schemes to get his eldest brother addicted to gambling, arranges a mistress to seduce the second brother, and even imprisons his own wife Su Yunyao. Furious, Lu Ruohong resolves to discipline her ungrateful sons one by one and stand up for her wronged daughters‑in‑law. She storms into the casino first, drives a blade through her eldest son’s palm, cripples his tendons and casts him out of the family. Next, she deals with the second son. She has him restrained and lets the eldest sister‑in‑law hold a syringe for “physical castration”, and forces the second daughter‑in‑law to hold scissors toward his private parts, terrifying him out of his wits. Lastly, she confronts the third son. He stabs Su Yunyao in public during a banquet. Lu Ruohong bursts in, uses divine magic to resurrect her daughter‑in‑law, and siphons the villainous son’s life essence to feed back to Su Yunyao, aging him instantly into a white‑haired old man.
