This family drama is about a father's redemption, twisted family bonds, and the truth that good always wins over evil. It follows Li Anfu, a kind, humble working-class father. After his wife's betrayal, his children's abduction, and a permanent disability, he spends twenty long years searching for his family. Through humiliation, misunderstanding, violence, and life-or-death trials, he finally uncovers the conspiracy, protects his loved ones, and reunites his broken family. The story begins on a stormy night. Li Anfu, a migrant construction worker, is doing dangerous labor at the site just to pay for his three children's school fees. Meanwhile, his wife He Xiufen is having an affair with her lover Wang Zhenmin. Blinded by greed, they stuff their three children — Li Yuting, Li Meng, and Li Jian — into burlap sacks. Lying that the bundles contain "farm piglets," they sell their own children to human traffickers. When Li Anfu comes home in the rain to find his children gone, he chases the traffickers on his motorcycle with all his strength. Wang Zhenmin deliberately crashes into him, breaking his right leg and leaving him permanently disabled. Clutching only the necklace his daughter dropped, Li Anfu begins his long, painful search. For twenty years, Li Anfu rides his worn-out motorcycle with missing-child flags across thousands of towns. He sleeps rough, endures scorn and hardship, tattoos his children's names on his back, and fills notebook after notebook with every clue he finds. By fate, he adopts an abandoned girl named Li Mengxue. The two lean on each other as father and daughter.
