Mind Reader
The housewife June is lured to the rooftop by her husband, Daze, who has planned to kill her for an insurance scam. Under the lightning rod, she gets struck by lightning. Daze watches helplessly as she lies dying, but to his surprise, June is revived and unexpectedly gains the ability to hear people's thoughts. June decides to use this new power to get back at Daze. June goes to the Century Love Group, where Daze works, for an interview, but the interviewer looks down on her. June initially hoped to prove she could stay in the company as a matchmaker by using her ability to listen to people's thoughts. However, the three female interviewers bully June after she exposes their office relationships. Just when things are getting bad, Daze arrives, and June hears an even bigger secret. The three interviewers are actually Daze’s mistresses. Daze uses his charm to manipulate the situation, and all four of them work together to suppress June. But June fights back and exposes them in front of the employees, making them lose face. Meanwhile, Zhou Yabin arrives and deals with the four of them. When security tries to take Daze away, June learns through her ability that Daze has been stealing company secrets. She intervenes and protects the company’s confidential data. After finding out that Old Master Zhou has been poisoned and the medical genius who could save him has been silenced, June decides to help Zhou Yabin. During this time, Zhou Yabin grows fond of June and starts to develop feelings for her. Unexpectedly, Daze turns to a shady medical group and threatens them with secret drugs to control Zhou Yabin and June. But June uses her ability to read Old Master Qin's thoughts and creates a more advanced medicine to save Old Master Zhou. After Old Master Zhou wakes up and learns June saved his life, he is extremely grateful. He starts shipping June and Zhou Yabin as a couple and even invites June to a matchmaking event a month later. June excitedly agrees, but things take a turn when Daze frames her for sleeping with Zhou Yabin and tarnishes her reputation. June is forced to resign from Century Love. A month later, June decides to attend the matchmaking event as an individual, only to find out she's pregnant. At the event, the mastermind behind all this, Mei Hua Pavilion’s leader, Yu Fangfang, shows up, and the two women go head-to-head. June wins the event, and Yu Fangfang finally learns the truth. June becomes the first top matchmaker in the industry with no background but holding the key to matchmaking secrets.
