Outsmarting the Clown Killer
On his birthday, Carter Brooks inexplicably falls into an infinite time loop, shot dead in a bathroom stall by the person in the clown mask. Waking up on the couch, Carter assumes it's a dream. He enters the bathroom a second time, sensing danger, but the killer strikes again. On his third reset, Carter realizes he must lose his pursuer to escape this terrifying time loop. But as he and Audrey Evans try to get into a car, a truck crushes them. Waking up a fourth time, he decides to investigate everyone. While Audrey and Brock Thorne argue, a clown mask falls out of Brock's bag. With each reset, Carter gathers more clues. During a scuffle, he discovers the killer is a woman, realizing she is a hired gun working for a mastermind. He uses her phone records across multiple resets to eliminate suspects. Eventually, clearing everyone around him, Carter is forced to capture the killer for information. Exploiting an 11 PM office power outage, he finally knocks her out and interrogates her. His colleagues arrive, reacting differently to her unmasked face. While Carter questions Oscar Wright about selling shares, the killer suddenly breaks free and murders everyone. Furious, Carter beats her down but kills himself before midnight to revive his friends. In the next reset, he captures her again. Just as he thinks it's over, a sudden death proves there are two killers: one driving the truck, the other shooting him. Carter must simultaneously subdue both to break the cycle. After another reset, his clues point to Brock. During their confrontation, the killer knocks everyone out. Brock reveals his true colors, confessing he orchestrated everything to seize The Skyborne Project. Nearing midnight, Carter tries to get himself killed, unsure if the time loop works past 12 AM. When an arrogant Brock refuses, Carter forcibly kisses Audrey, provoking Brock into killing him before the clock strikes. Once Brock and the killers are brought to justice, Carter goes to retrieve security footage as evidence. Suddenly, it dawns on him: there is another accomplice. At that moment, a Security Guard smirks, a dagger slipping from his sleeve.
